I had to work night shift this weekend and in between calls I was able to get some knitting done. I have been working continuously on a lace scarf for my mother in law. Then my fingers got the itch....I wanted...needed even to knit something for myself. And I remembered the lovely Rowan Tapestry yarn I picked up from The Yarn Lounge on Thursday.
This yarn is yummy! A scrumptious blend of wool and soybean protein fiber. It has a beautiful lustre with colors that variegate perfectly. I chose SH174 because it reminded me of autumn. Tawny brown with green and amber.
The pattern I used is from Knitty, called Shedir. I stretchy cabled hat that is a fun knit.
Shedir: US #3
Rowan Tapestry Shade 174
Variation: 4 Repeats of main body instead of 5, bind off in Row 82.
